About Me!!

Hey there! My name is Imani Gholson. I am a Colorado native working towards my dream of becoming a musical theatre artist wherever my craft takes me. I recently graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a BA in Theatre and minor in Dance. I fell in love with performing when I was in my first production, Peter Pan in 5th grade. If I’m going to be honest I really just liked all the attention, but as time has gone on I began to understand the importance of the performing arts. I love encouraging others to explore other emotions, expand their imagination, and develop their own unique voice.

2024 was an incredible year for my career and personal growth. I am extremely grateful for all the new friends I made and the opportunities that were given to me! I am grateful to have had ended the year closing a production at the Arvada Center, and my next contract signed. I will be heading out to St Petersburg Florida in March to have my debut performance in Hair at American Stage Theatre!! In the meantime, some much needed rest, as well as diving into audition season. The year just started but let’s see where else I can put my creative energy to work!!

I am always working on my skills and building connections. When I am not performing or preparing for auditions, you can catch me supporting the arts buying tickets for every show I have the opportunity to see, or making silly Tik-Toks :)))
